How to use RinseMate: the complete guide

Everything you need to know to get the most out of your RinseMate — from first spray to wall mount.

Standard use

Sit toward the front of the seat, lean forward, and reach the nozzle behind and underneath into the bowl. Press the button for a hard upward stream, then pat dry.

1

Sit forward on the seat

2

Reach the nozzle behind and underneath

3

Press, then pat dry

For women

We recommend directing the spray from front to back rather than reaching from behind, to maintain proper hygienic direction.

Mounting the suction cup holder

No drilling, no screws, no tools. It takes under a minute and works on any smooth, flat surface like tile or glass.

Step 1

Open and loosen the holder

Pull the suction cup outward so it slides freely.

Step 2

Set it to open

Push the lever so the cup points outward.

Step 3

Place it flat against the wall

Hold it steady on a clean, smooth surface.

Step 4

Push and click to lock

The click means it's sealed and secure.

Tips for the strongest hold

  • Choose a smooth, non-porous surface — tile, glass or sealed stone.
  • Wipe the spot clean and dry first; dust or moisture weakens the seal.
  • To reposition, just release the lever and start again — it leaves no marks.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know I'm using enough pressure?

Press the button fully for a hard, steady upward stream. A short or hesitant press won't clean effectively — hold it for a few seconds.

Do I need to drill or use screws to mount it?

No. The holder uses a suction cup — no drilling, no screws, no tools. Nothing permanent touches your wall, so it's perfect for rented homes.

What surfaces does the suction cup work on?

Smooth, flat, non-porous surfaces such as ceramic tile, glass or sealed surfaces. Avoid textured, porous or freshly painted walls, where a suction cup can't form a proper seal.

Should I use it differently as a woman?

Yes — we recommend directing the spray from front to back rather than reaching from behind, to maintain proper hygienic direction.

Can I move the holder later?

Yes. Release the lever, reposition the holder, and click it back into place — as many times as you like.
